2017 Steeda Q750 StreetFighter Mustang Packs Hellcat-shaming 825 HP Blown V8

In the aftermarket world, the S550 Mustang is a sweetheart. This is mostly due to the 2.3-liter EcoBoost I4 and 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8, two engines that are easy to tune to absurd levels. Perennial Mustang tuner Steeda also had a go pushing the pony car envelope by creating the Q350 Sport, Q500 Enforcer, and Q750 StreetFighter.

First and foremost, let’s talk about big daddy Q750 StreetFighter. As the name implies, this is a video game franchise Mustang tuned for use on public roads, not the racing track. Priced from $29,995 sans the donor Mustang GT Fastback, the Q750 StreetFighter burbles to the sound of 825 horsepower and 655 lb-ft (888 Nm) of twist thanks to the addition of a Whipple supercharger.

The Q750 StreetFighter also benefits from Steeda’s go-faster G-Trac suspension system, boasting fully adjustable damping for superlative driving dynamics. If you’re also planning on tracking the car, Steeda offers something called the Ultimate Drivetrain Upgrade Package, an option that includes a Tremec Magnum XL 6-speed manual, a race-ready twin-disc clutch assembly, a high-performance flywheel, and a heavy-duty 3-inch aluminum driveshaft. The bad boy of the Q-Series is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.

Moving on to the intermediate solution, the Steeda Q500 Enforcer is proud to provide the driver’s left foot with 490 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque (644 Nm). This comes courtesy of a naturally aspirated Five-Oh enhanced by a high-flow cold air intake, PCM calibration, cat-back exhaust system, and a clutch spring upgrade. The price for this sort of get-up-and-go? $13,995.

For owners of the Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost, the turbocharged four-banger can be tuned to 342 horsepower and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque by opting for the 2017 Steeda Q350 Sport treatment. Pricing? $6,995. For better handling, the G-Trac Suspension Stage I and Stage II packs are available at extra cost.

“The Steeda Q-Series provides a level of excitement and driving that delivers a level of suspension refinement and overall performance that has never been experienced in any other production Mustang,” said Dario Orlando, the head honcho of Steeda. More specific info is available on Steeda's website.
