Here's the 2017 model year Range Rover, revealed before its market launch in Britain this fall. While the cosmetic changes are minimal, features like the supercharged V6 engine, new trim level, and semi-autonomous technology are sure to grab the attention of buyers.
We don't know when it's coming to America and how much it will cost, but the £76,350 UK market price has been released.

High-spec 2017 Range Rovers will be equipped with safety and comfort features like adaptive cruise control and a traffic sign recognition system that adjusts the speed according to the posted limit. So you could theoretically drive to your destination without ever using the right foot.

Even more modestly equipped SUVs will feature new driver assistance systems such as lane departure warning, parking assistance, autonomous emergency braking and driver fatigue monitoring.

The interior has been de-cluttered using Land Rover's InControl Touch Pro infotainment system with a 10-inch display. You might recognize it from the 2016 Jaguar XF, and if you do, you'll realize it's a big improvement over the old system.

For us, the big news under the hood is that the 3-liter supercharged V6 from the F-Type is finally available. This should replace the naturally aspirated base V8 from the old model and delivers 335bhp or 340 PS. Coupled with the 450 Nm of torque, the new mill is capable of getting the hefty Range Rover to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds.

For those seeking a more hardcore experience, the 2017 model year brings the SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition. It's the one in all the sexy photos and features a 542bhp or 550 PS supercharged V8 out of the Sport SVR. Its makers say this Cayenne Turbo competitor will do a respectable 5.1 seconds to 100 km/h and comes with keener handling thanks to an 8mm suspension drop.

Cosmetic changes for the SVAutobiography Dynamic include Graphite Atlas-finished side vents and grille, while inside it gets diamond quilted leather seats. With a sticker price of £132,800, it's aimed squarely at the one percent.
