2017 Porsche 911R For Sale at $420,000 in Germany Seems Like a Bargain

991 units. That's how many units of the 2017 911 R Porsche is building and we felt dropping this reminder was necessary as more and more example of the clutch special showing up for sale could easily have people believe this isn't such a limited edition after all.

And yes, we're actually here to bring yet another 911 R that's currently up for grabs. This time around, the rear-engined coupe can be found in its home country, with the Neunelfer having shown up on the BestClassicCars Facebook page.

This Zuffenhausen machine is listed at EUR390,000 (around $420,000), which seems like a bargain. How come? Well, let's compare this to the previous two 911 R hand-trading stories we brought you - while the first such tale, which came from Monaco, mentioned that the car had been sold for $550,000, the second one brought us a Florida car being offered for $750,000 - you can check out this vehicle in the images to your right.

Nevertheless, we must also consider the details of this German three-pedal 911. The odometer reads 5,000 km (make that 3,105 miles), with the ad mentioning the service (this probably means the more or less scheduled maintenance) has been done.

As for how the R was treated during those miles, the decals on the windshield and those on the doors link the vehicle to the Van Berghe GmbH racing team, a motorsport crew that enjoys racing mechanical beasts wearing the Porsche crest.

Interestingly, a similar car showed up back in July, when a White 911 R with Green stripes also wearing similar decals was given a Matte Aluminum wrap. And while we can't talk about the number plates for any of the occasions, this could be the same vehicle. For one thing, the plate holders wear the same branding, coming from German dealer Porsche Zentrum Regensburg.

If you decide you want to complete the homework and maybe adorn your driveway with this stick shift delight, you'd better move fast.
