And here we are, giving you one of the first incarnations of the supercar that have been spotted out in the wild - keep in mind Porsche is only building 991 examples of the rear-engined driving instrument.

This example of the 2017 Porsche 911 R was recently spotted in Düsseldorf, Germany and we must thank MP Carphotography via Autogespot for the images. And while we get to see the Zuffenhausen machine parked on the side of the street, the car was also shot while in traffic.

The owner of the clutch special went for the basic White hue when it came to the body of the car, while opting for Red when it came to the stripes adorning the top panels of the car. On the side of the Neunelfer, Red is used for the Porsche badging, while the stripes around this come in Black.

While we've also seen Red stripes on the 911 R displayed during the model's Geneva Motor Show debut back in March, that car came with an all-Black side decal approach. The two are also separated by their rim hue, as this one packs Black wheels, while the launch vehicle came with the usual Silver approach.

Speaking of 911 R shades, we'll remind you of the eye-catching color melange present of the example owned by Andreas Preuninger, the man leading Porsche's GT offensive. His 2017 911 R is dressed in British Racing Green, while the retro-inspired hue chosen for the side decals only turns the car into even more of a nod to the rich pedigree that defines the Neunelfer.

P.S.: Notice the little boy using his smartphone to capture this stunning 911 example - since the little one went to the rear of the high-octane beast, he must know his Porsche stuff.
