2017 Audi A5 Rendered Again, We Can See Audi A4's Influence Oozing from the Pictures

We've never been low on Audi A5 spyshots, videos and renderings ever since the new A4 was officially unveiled, but one more design proposition can't do any harm, right?

As a fun fact, we'll tell you the A5 will be (or will try to be) the masterpiece of the same designer responsible for the Prologue's lines.

In any case, we expect the Audi A5 to make a debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2016, as a 2017MY, but there's still a long way until that happens. So why don't we have a look at yet another set of renderings hinting at the Ingolstadt coupé's styling, courtesy of RM Design?

For now, it all comes from Pixel Land, but the longer hood and lower rear window are looking like something that belongs in the real-life production version.

The new Audi grille will make its way on the new A5, and spy pictures along with spy videos confirmed a very broad grille, trimmed by a large silver frame.

All in all, just like the rendering made by Theophilus Chin, you can clearly see the new A4's presence embedded in the design.

Performance-wise, sporty S and RS models are also in the pipeline. In fact, the S5 will be put into motion by the same supercharged 3.0-liter V6 boosted by an extra 20 horsepower.

The regular A5 will be offered with a 2-liter engine while the 1.8-liter TFSI mills will be left out for this one. Therefore, power outputs should range from 190 horsepower to the 272 horsepower on the 3.0-liter TDI top-of-the-range version, but we'll simply wait and see what Audi has to say about that.
