2017 Acura NSX Gets Widebody Kit and Roof Box In Brutal Rendering

2017 Acura NSX Gets Widebody Kit and Roof Box: Rendering 1 photo

While roof boxes have been around for quite some time, the past couple of years have seen these accessories helping supercars get over their practicality issues. And the time has come for the 2017 Acura NSX to receive such a treatment, albeit in virtual form.
The pixel rearrangement we have here comes from HPF Design and we have to admit this is a pretty wild one. It all starts with the widebody kit, which could even come to the real world one day.

Come to think of it, such a tale could become a reality, if, for instance, an aftermarket developer like Liberty Walk, would get its hands on the NSX (perhaps the Honda badge used in this rendering is more fitting than our Acura take).

The Japanese tuner has gifted plenty of supercars, Ferraris and Lamborghinis involved, with such visual packages, right down to the NASCAR-like tail.

Then there's the roof box itself, which might be here to boost luggage capacity, but certainly features what we'd call an emphatic design.

As for the custom wheels seen here, buyers of the hybrid supercar might have an early adopter fetish, but this doesn't mean they have to stick to the factory recipe all the way.

However, the image also packs elements that are probably best kept in the virtual world, such as those extra LED daytime running lights, which look like they come from the Nissan GT-R.

Speaking of which, we recently brought you drag racing and track driving comparisons involving the GT-R and the NSX, with things turning out less than spectacular for the gas-electric vehicle.

Returning to the rendering arena, it's only been one day since we brought you an image that messed with such an important name in the supercar industry. And, for those of you who missed it, here's the pixel manipulation that gave the BMW Z4 (GT3) an Alfa Romeo Giulia face transplant.
