Having all these social media platforms to back up the effort put in by our carparazzi means from time to time we get to see new or revised models up close.
It goes the same for the revised 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser and the set of pictures taken by an Instagrammer going by the name of hamad1two3 on the popular social media platform.

Coming back to the upgraded Land Cruiser, it looks like the SUV got itself a fresh face. Things seem more sophisticated design-wise in the front, where chrome trim has found its way more than what the Land Cruiser had to offer up until this point.

From where we're standing, the front end looks completely changed: the headlights have been restyled, along with the fog lamps and the bumper. The hood suggests it gained more muscle while the overall impression is of a beefed-up front end with a small drop of sportiness.

We can't tell you anything on the car's profile as the pictures do not provide such a point of view. What we can tell is that at the back, the revised Land Cruiser was fitted with new LED taillights and more chrome decorations.

Unfortunately, we can't see the interior but we expect Toyota to keep things as before, with only a few finishing touches added for a more refined appearance, especially for Middle Eastern customers.

Meanwhile, Toyota is rewarding the European Land Cruiser with a new 2.8 D-4D diesel engine this summer, available for both the three- and five-door Land Cruisers. The 16-valve DOHC powerplant produces a maximum of 174 horsepower and a peak torque of 420 Nm (295 lb-ft).
