Subaru USA is keeping the BRZ in line with the competitors which for the 2016MY means new options and lower prices.
Now, don't expect massive discounts, but the 2016 Subaru BRZ costs $300 less than before, as customers can get one for a starting sticker of $25,395.

The Subaru BRZ is available to US customers in Premium or Limited trim, powered by the familiar 200-horsepower 2.0-liter boxer mill and fitted with a sport-tuned suspension system and a Torsen limited-slip differential.

But you're here to know what's new for the 2016 Subaru BRZ, and we can't say no to that.

Therefore, we'll tell you the 2016 BRZ receives the Subaru Starlink infotainment system based on a 6.2-inch single-touch gesture display. The suite is also completed by amenities such as the AM/FM stereo with HD Radio, a single-disc CD player, Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity and audio streaming, iPod control, and iTunes Tagging. Also, there's a rearview camera offered as standard equipment.

For the Limited trim models, Subaru came up with body-color trunk spoiler, fog lights and Alcantara-trimmed interior and keyless access.

The seats are also embroidered with Alcantara inserts and leather bolsters while clients can still opt for the six-speed manual or the six-speed Electronic Direct-Control automatic transmission with steering wheel paddle shift controls.

Nevertheless, The BRZ Limited also receives a dual-zone automatic climate control with the All-Weather Package. The last bundle includes dual-mode heated front seats and heated side mirrors.

Also in the Limited trim, the dual visor vanity mirrors are illuminated, and front door courtesy lights illuminate when the doors are opened.

The first 2016 Subaru BRZ models are expected to reach US dealerships this fall. Pricing for the BRZ Limited models begins at $27,395 (with the manual tranny) while those looking for the auto gearbox will have to settle for a price tag of $28,495.
