Playing with the understated visual aura of a Porsche 911, and we refer to any Neunelfer here, is the kind of job that requires a keen eye, as the risk of stepping into the overkill zone is incredibly high.
Zuffenhausen has strict limits when it comes to such body variations and, if we are to use the current 911 line-up as an example, the GT3 RS is as wild as factory things get.

However, the 2016 911 Targa 4 GTS in the piece of footage at the bottom of the page seems to cross the line mentioned in the intro, at least in our book.

The build comes from TS Designs, a label run by a guy who recommends himself as  Wide Body King. So, let's get to the custom parts installed on the rear-engined machine. We're dealing with... a widebody kit, a front splitter, 80s-style rear fender air intakes, an extended ducktail spoiler job and, of course, a look-at-me color.

Then there are the Forgiato rims, which mix all three shades present on the car's body, namely Orange, Black and Silver (some would refer to this as a polished metal finish).

This is no watercooled Rauh-Welt-Begriff. Far from it

If you ask us, this build has an air of grown-up-but-still-bro culture to it. Despite having been built with obvious attention to details, it doesn't manage to enter the art zone where we find the Rauh-Welt Begriff kits. And yes, we know the car has won at least one DUB Magazine show award.

Akira Nakai can easily be recognized as a craftsman, which is why, despite getting their fair share of split opinions, the Japanese Porsche aficionado's kits having earned him tons of respect, with the appreciation coming from all corners of the world.

Returning to the 2016 Targa GTS we have here, we're fortunate enough to be treated with a single case of a bro-ization job, so there's no reason to fret.
