At the moment, buying a 911 with a naturally aspirated engine is almost impossible: the 911 R was sold out before it was even launched, the GT3 has been withdrawn from the Porsche website since Zuffenhausen is preparing to introduce the 991.2 mid-cycle revamp, and while the GT3 RS can be found online, trying to get a hold of one in the real world might lead to frightening price tags.
Porsches are expensive by definition, so, for most aficionados out there, the GT3 remains the most viable alternative. Well, today we're bringing you a 2016 911 GT3 you can grab for less than half the normal price.

As you've probably guessed by now, we're talking about a car that's been through quite a lot of pain. The GT3 in the image gallery before had a mere 365 miles (make that 588 km) on its odo when it was wrecked.

The track-savvy Neunelfer has now shown up on copart (spanner tip to Redditor CLINTORIUSISGLORIUS) and, at the time this article was written, anybody with $70,000 to spare could take the injured Porsche home.

While we can't be entirely sure about this, the buyer will probably get a salvage title for the GT3, but don't let the $4,460 repair estimate on copart trick you.

Regardless of how that massive error was made, you might end up spending ten times the money to help this rear-engined coupe return to the road - we have to keep in mind that a new Porsche 911 GT3 (you can still find a limited number of cars at dealers) will set you back north of $150,000.

And while the massive damage might keep this GT3 from being given a new life (despite the rarity of the thing), perhaps some eccentric could use the tech bits of the car for a wild build - the engine, as well as the suspension (obviously excepting the left, front side) seem fine. Just imagine what a one-off rivaling Singer 911s would be like...
