2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Looks Tasty in Mint Green: Rendering

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is the kind of car that would look appealing in any kind of color, but when the track-savvy Neunelfer puts on a Mint Green coat, the cool factor climbs sky-high.

This is exactly what happens in the rendering above, with digital artist Jonsibal picturing the 2016 GT3 RS in a shade of Green that would turn everybody heads on both the street and the track.

To emphasise the supercar’s visual potential, the pixel player used a deep shade of Black to multiple elements of the car, thus creating a strong contrast.

While we might get to see such apparel for the 911 in real life one day, it will, most likely, be a wrap or another form of temporary finish. At least for now, Porsche only offers the 911 GT3 RS in four colors.

We have Java Orange, which is the machine’s launch color, but comes as an option, as well as the “look at me” Ultraviolet choice. Both are considered “special colors”, but we must also mention the standard hues, namely White and GT Silver Metallic. You can choose between any of the two without having to pay extra.

Sure, there’s also Porsche Exclusive, which can match your exterior color to that of your grandad’s racing watch, if that’s what you want.

Come to think of it, an extravagant color such as the one rendered here is to other drivers what the stitching on the top-center steering wheel is for the person behind the wheel of this Porsche - an adjuvant for keeping track of how the racing action is unfolding.

If we were in, say, a Ferrari 458 Speciale and fighting such a Zuffenhausen machine, the screaming color would only allow us keep a closer eye on that RS at all times. Not that we couldn't do it by looking for its rear wing.
