The industry is in Sport Plus mode these days, with development moving at full-throttle pace, whether we’re talking about carmakers or aftermarket developers. You don’t even have to take our word for it, as we have an example for you. One that includes the 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS and a wrap.
An example of the track-savvy 911 has already received a new attire, with the hue seen on this wrap being dubbed Racing Orange Matt. If you ask us, the hue resembles what would be a retro version of the GT3 RS’ Lava Orange launch color. Since this is a Neunelfer, things can never goo too far down memory lane, so we adore the result. It's almost as if the 911 GT3 RS would've aged overnight.

Perhaps the owner of the car wanted to get away from the limited color range offered by Porsche. We’ll remind you the GT3 RS can only be had in 4 hues: White, GT Silver Metallic, the Lava Orange mentioned above and Ultraviolet. Sure, you could always turn to Porsche Exclusive and have the car finished in the color of your sunglasses, but the process is not without its financial and time toll.

We’ll remind you that while people are out playing with the new GT3 RS already, Porsche still has some ongoing plans of its own for the rear-engined track machine. The GT3 RS has recently been spotted lapping the Nurburgring together with a Cayman GT4 and we can’t stop wondering what Porsche is planning.
