Now that Porsche has introduced the 2017 911 Carrera and Carrera S, the pair of GT3s models will be even more valuable than before.
Don’t get us wrong, we’re enjoying the extra performance of the turbocharged flat-six at the rear of the Carreras, but we can’t hide the fact that the natural aspiration of the track-savvy Neunelfers is our cup (no pun intended) of tea.

As a result, we’ve decided to honor the 2016 GT3 RS and the rendering above, which comes from digital artist Jonsibal, managed to cover that task just fine.

How is a pink livery with red dotted lines that are basically butcher instructions a good thing?

If the question above seems legit, we have to explain that the visual scheme is borrowed from the famous 917/20 racecar. Dubbed the Pink Pig, this racer deserves plenty of credit for consolidating the carmaker’s motorsport reputation.

The livery, as well as the nickname, are a piece of German humor, as Porsche couldn’t help but notice the car’s resemblance to a pig - the compnay commissioned a French aerospace engineering company to refine the aerodynamics of the 917K.

German speakers or culinary experts will recognise the words on the vehicle’s body, as these represent the German names for the traditional cuts.

Does such a livery exist on real life Porsches?

Yes, of course it does. We’ve brought you the latest example of this back in August, when Japanese tuner Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB)came up with a Porsche 911 belonging to the 964 generation, which was dressed in this shade of pink.

We’re not sure whether the car received the full cuts treatment described above, but, even without it, the tribute is paid. RWB, which is famous for its out-of-this-world body kits, used the occasion to celebrate their arrival in Australia.
