Two Brothers Racing announce that the recently-unveiled 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R can be equipped with not one, but two aftermarket exhaust silencers. The company's M-2 and S1R exhaust silencers have been confirmed to fit the newest model year liter-class Ninja, and they are up for grabs.
In a way, it's funny to see third-party aftermarket performance parts offered for a motorcycle that's not yet rolling on the street. We sort of doubt that Akashi sent a test bike to TBR, so until further notice we'de rather go for the estimation scenario.

That is, as the engine of the 2016 Ninja ZX-10R has not received extensive, dramatic changes, TBR believes that the two exhausts will serve the new machine just as well.

Will we see a new iteration of TBR cans after the new Ninja becomes widely available?

The truth is that the 2016 Ninja ZX-10R DID change a bit, as we reported yesterday. The engine got new cylinder heads and new electronically-operated throttle valves and the bike now produces 200 horsepower, with a peak of 207 hp when RAM Air kicks in fully.

So we might just live to see TBR updating their 2016 ZX-10R exhaust line in the future, albeit only for being able to squeeze the very last bit of extra power and torque the engine can produce.

Until then, however, those who want to add more grunt to their smoking hot, new Ninja can choose from multiple options. The M-2 is available in aluminium, carbon fiber and titanium while the S1R shorty can is only available in carbon fiber.

Follow the link to choose what can should you use for your new Ninja, but remember all the ZX-10R (2011-2016) cans are catalyst-eliminator slip-ons.

Unfortunately, the video below is not showing the 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, because, as we told you, the bike is still labelled as unobtainium for few more days.
