The "official version" of the 2016 Kawasaki Ninja H2R does not introduce any changes from the initial model, and this is not surprising. Akashi worked very hard to deliver a bike that spelled excellence, both in terms of looks and performance.
Still, there are no perfect things around, so even the seemingly perfect H2R could be improved. At least, this is what the guys running the Trick Star workshop thought when they set off to deliver this white version of the Ninja H2R.

Frankly, we didn't expect that a H2R could look so light and appealing, with all the silver and white livery. However, the result of Trick Star's efforts is stunning, and, in a way, adds more volume to this otherwise vile beast.

Edgy design has its perks and small downsides

Kawasaki Heavy Industries went for a radical design when creating the Ninja H2R, straying quite a lot from what the house of Akashi used to deliver up to this point. The fluid shapes of the Ninja ZX series were replaced by an edgier and more aggressive design that seems to suit the H2R better.

The new color scheme favors this approach and underlines the attire of the bike even better. Seeing the Kawasaki Ninja H2R in white and silver instantaneously brought the KTM 1290 Super Adventure to mind.

Some might say that the comparison is a bit far-fetched, but leaving aside brand affinities (on both sides), one simply can't ignore the similarities. And this is a great thing, as we'd certainly like to see a new superbike on the street proudly showing off RC8-ish looks.

Or maybe Kawasaki could find some inspiration in the Trick Star design and upgrade the future Ninjas in such a fancy way. The Mirror Spark Black finish is interesting, but neat variations could also be a neat addition. Any ideas?
