With Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance opening its gates, it's only natural for carmakers to start unloading their best creations in Monterey, California.
One such carmaker is Infiniti. They brought the 2016 Q70 Premium Select Edition to Pebble Beach, a model that will be on display throughout the week.

"Following the introduction last year of the new Infiniti Q70 long-wheelbase model, we are continuing to expand our flagship Q70 sedan's portfolio of offerings," said Randy Parker, vice president, Infiniti Americas. "The new Premium Select Edition package gives the Q70 an extra touch of premium elegance that is right at home here at Pebble Beach – or in any neighborhood or driveway across the country."

That's the PR voice talking, we'll tell you what the Q70 Premium Select Edition has to offer besides the standard amenities.

For starters, the exterior is embroidered with dark chrome trim, a darkened lower rear bumper, a rear decklid spoiler and 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.

In the cabin, designers came up with Graphite or Stone semi-aniline leather seating and a suede-like headliner. The finishing touches are represented by aluminum interior trim, illuminated kickplates, and floor mats with contrasting piping.

The good news for customers is they will be able to get the Premium Select Edition on the standard wheelbase Q70 3.7, Q70 3.7 AWD, Q70 5.6 and Q70 5.6 AWD models.

As you probably know, the former M Series from Infiniti transformed into the Q70 moniker, a competitor for the BMW 5 Series sedan and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Infiniti didn't communicate pricing for the 2016 Q70 Premium Select Edition but in the US, the premium sedan starts at $49,850 while European customers have to pay at least €47,750 to own one.

You can also go hybrid with the Q70 for a starting sticker of $55,900, but the Premium Select Edition is not available for this version.
