UK riders who fancy buying a new Honda superbike and who have been patient enough might have struck gold. Honda has just revealed not one, but two special edition versions of their Fireblade liter-class CBR100RR motorcycle.
The nicest of the two machine is, undoubtedly, the TT Special, a CBR dressed in the tri-color livery used by Isle of Man legendary road racer John McGuinness. Even more than its special paint scheme, the TT Special is also equipped with aftermarket parts that enhance both its looks and its performance.

By far, the first thing that will get your attention, besides the TT color, is the Akrapovic MotoGP-ish exhaust silencer. The Akrapovic can replace the rather chunky stock silencer the Fireblade is delivered with, and adds quite a lot to the racy vibe of this bike.

Moreover, the rims are different, also sporting a race-inspired color scheme that complements the rest of the bike perfectly. The aftermarket parts list also includes Gilles levers and lever guards, Gilles chain adjusters, paddock stands and crash pads, as well as race-grade Galfer rotors.

The Black Edition Fireblade SP is, as its name indicates, an almost all-black appearance, with the stock brushed metal silencer being the only dissonant note in the whole theme. The same Gilles and Galfer aftermarket parts can be found on it too, plus a dark tinted bubble screen and some carbon fiber accents.

Both machines are road-legal and available in limited numbers, so if you feel like taking one of them home, you'd better contact your nearest Honda dealer already.

It looks like these two special edition CBR100RR machines will only be available in the UK, and we pity you if you don't have any friends to help you claw one. The Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP Black Edition retails for GBP 12,199 (equivalent to $17,395 or €15,280), whereas the uber-cool Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP TT Special Edition is GBP16,999 (equivalent to $24,240 or €21,290), on the road prices.
