We were eager to bring you something to quench that wild pony-riding thirst, but it appears we have failed - the GT350 and GT350R production numbers have leaked and they only seem to fuel the fire.
While the Blue Oval is still tight-lipped on such matters, we can tell you that the world will be treated with 5,000 GT350s per year, while the GT350R will arrive in as little as 500 cars per year.
Fret not natural aspiration fans, in case you miss the first batch of hyperfocused 'Stangs, Ford Performance will give you four other chances - it looks like the pair will stay in production for half a decade.
As usual with these top-secret-but-no-so-secret matters, the original piece of information seems to have been deleted shortly after it was published, as Mustang6G writes - the bins were reportedly spilled by Manny Galvin of Gaudin Ford on his Facebook account, but the post was subsequently deleted.
Still, we couldn't help but notice how the info surfaced in the same week with a similar tip, but targeting Porsche - it seems that the Cayman GT4, Zuffenhausen's mid-engined trackday hero, will only be produced in around 2,500 units.
