We all love to see project cars that take the base vehicle so far from the starting point that the result is barely recognizable. Nevertheless, we don't all have a monster budget or the kind of fabrication skill that allows for heavy modding not to blow a hole in the safe holding the children's college fund.
But many of us share that inner fire that makes one want to add his or her custom touches to the machine that adorns the driveway. And this is where the small mods, the kind that make a difference, step in.
For now, we're here to focus on what is probably the easiest custom touch one can add, namely a pair of stripes. We're talking about the vinyl decorating the 2016 Dodge Charger Scat Pack in the images below.
While at first it might seem these are your usual Black stripes, the pic of the rear, which offers a better view of the muscle sedan, allows us to notice we're actually dealing with carbon fiber here.
So, carbon fiber stripes... These have the potential to act like bits of tar waiting for the feathers to come. On the other hand, they also have the power to seriously transform the appearance of their host.
We'll let you be the judge of this one, but not before tipping our hat to Redditor illuzionx2x for sharing his Mopar ride with us. Asked about why the stripes come to an abrupt end on the front bumper while up front they go all the way, the aficionado offered a simple reply: "We actually ran out of Carbon Fiber vinyl. So waiting for that then i'm going to finish it off to the bottom."
Having sorted out that OCD matter, we're inviting you to take sides here - among others, we're curious about the opinions of those who still complain about the Charger having four doors after all these years.
