Confederate Motorcycles announces it has started to take orders for the 31 C2 P51 Fighter bikes which are said to start surfacing this July. Announced back in early December, the C2 P51 Fighter is Pierre Terblanche’s first take on the Confederate machinery, and it looks like the wait is finally over and the big moment really close.
Back in March 2013, one of the big names in motorcycle design, Pierre Terblanche joined the ranks of one of the industry’s most radical manufacturer, Confederate. Having worked for Moto Guzzi, Norton, Piaggio and best-known for his work at Ducati, Terblanche is the fellow which gave life to machines such as the Multistrada, Hypermotard and the love-it-or-hate-it 999.

The second-generation Fighter in Confederate’s line-up, the 2015 C2 P51 is said to have received a solid makeover, with a redesigned billet aluminium crankcase which is lighter and many other elements on the bike being also on a strict diet program. Aluminium in both cast and billet flavors, carbon fiber, titanium, stainless steel have been used in the creation of the C2 P51 Fighter, while the downdraft fuel injection system Terblanche adopted promises better ergonomics and more power from this V beast.

No word on the price, but if Confederate is not playing to go mainstream, we can expect that the price tags read in the ballpark of $100,000 or €73,000. Feel like getting really minimalist and utterly brutal aboard a 2016 C2 P51? Call 205.460.5855 and get in touch with Confederate; they’ll most likely be happy to tell you more on the machine and maybe you can share some photos once you’ve made the deposit.
