2016 Chevrolet Spark Reveals Its Interior Before April Debut

It was only a few days ago when Chevrolet dropped the first teaser photo semi-revealing the 2016 Chevrolet Spark’s exterior design. Now, we get a glimpse at the car’s interior, thanks to a photo that surfaced on a South-Korean website.

By now, it is well known that Chevrolet will build the 2016 Spark in South Korea, along with its European cousins, Opel Karl and Vauxhall Viva. But despite the differences in exterior design cues, the aforementioned models should actually share the same dashboard arrangement, more or less.

Looking at the picture that surfaced on bobaedream.co.kr, it’s easy to spot the V shape dashboard brought in from the previous Spark, although the overall styling looks like it went up a level or two in terms of maturity and refinement. In addition, Opel Karl’s wheelbase is 0.4 inches longer, so this could also influence Spark’s size, meaning that the interior space will see some improvement.

The instrument panel is also looking like it underwent pretty hefty changes , as the cluster was extended to hold a traditional tachometer. That’s about everything we can actually see, because of the angle from which the photo was taken an the rather low quality of the picture itself.

Under these circumstances, all we can do is wait until Chevrolet reveals a teaser photo of the interior. In case that doesn’t happen, the official unveiling of the new 2016 Spark is scheduled on April 2. Moreover, Chevy will present the new Spark both at the 2015 New York International Auto Show and 2015 Seoul Motor Show.
