2016 Chevrolet Camaro Accessories & Underbody on Display at SEMA

49 years after the original Camaro went on sale in the United States, the sixth-generation of Chevrolet's pony car arrives at SEMA with enough goodies to keep die-hard enthusiasts happy. As expected, Team Camaro also brought out undercarriage and accessories displays of the newest Camaro around.

Underbody displays were designed to keep mechanical-savvy gearheads entertained at automotive shows such as SEMA. This one doesn't dissapoint. Courtesy of Phastek Performance, the following photographs help Camaro fans get acquainted with parts we don't see too often.

For the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro in SS flavor, we have to say that everything underneath the LT1 V8-powered pony is clean as a whistle and sharp as a thistle. But most of all, we admire the way the exhaust system looks from underneath, even the tiniest of components.

After you get your 2016 Chevrolet Camaro undercarriage kicks, you might want to flick through the photo gallery some more and gasp at the sight of so many OEM accessories. We have had our reservations regarding the look of the darkened taillights based on the Photoshopped pics featured on the manufacturer's website, yet they look downright amazing from real life perspective.

Another highlight of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro accessories display is represented by the front and rear bowtie emblems in black, which retail for $95 per set. They would've made a great team with carbon fiber hood scoops, but Chevrolet doesn't plan on offering this kind of equipment anytime soon. If we are lucky, the 2017 model year Chevrolet Camaro will see our wish finally come true.

On the downside, we can't get our head around the sticker price of the Performance axle-back exhaust system. The darn thing is $1,195, which is on the steep side considering the NPP exhaust system goes for $895. It's made of 304 stainless steel, though, but we still prefer the deep growl of the NPP exhaust.
