2016 BMW M7 Rendered: Could This Be Real?

Way before the new 7 Series came out, the world was already talking about a possible M7 model or at least an M Performance version. BMW denied those claims countless times but the thirst of a real rival for the S63 AMG kept the rumor mill going.
Now that we finally know how the flagship looks like, it’s time for automotive renderers to get to work and bring out the M in the 7 Series. The first ones that took up this opportunity were the guys from X-Tomi design. They took it upon themselves to render an M7 and we think they’re right on the money.

Today it’s actually easy to render an M car because of the dull exterior design all Bavarian cars have. I’ll say out loud and clear: the new 7 Series is more of an evolution compared to the F01 version than an all new model. As a matter of fact, if BMW wanted to launch another LCI (facelift in non-BMW lingo) this would probably be it.

The M cars also have a certain similar look these days. What X-Tomi did here was add the front bumper from the M6 models and the double-slate kidney grilles and that was it. Of course, the attention to detail is rather important as well.

AS you can tell, there’s the M7 sign added to the kidney grilles while the wheels hide Carbon Ceramic Brakes and their golden brake calipers behind them. The chrome details on the car have been blacked out as well.

Looking at this rendering, one can’t help but wonder how great such a model would be. On the other hand, you already have the new 750i model that will do 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.4 seconds. How fast does a limo have to be?
