It must be extremely pleasant to be able to afford a brand new 7 Series as soon as it comes out. Most cars will be bought by companies though, for their shuttle services for high-ranking officials but there are still a lot of people out there that will actually be buying the new flagship. The question that remains though is why?
Well, there are tons of reasons. Some people just need to own the newest model and for owners of the 7 Series (pre-facelift versions especially) it has been a long wait.
Other people want the newest tech in the auto industry and the new Bimmer has plenty of those under its sleek body lines, some of them premieres in their respective fields. We’ll get into that a bit later.
A small portion of the customers also want to see how the new limousine fares against the current king of the niche, the S-Class that has been selling like crazy ever since it was launched. We have a sneaky suspicion that while on the design side of things the Merc might win it, the technology and the driving feel of the BMW will make it the better car overall.
