Even though we’ve seen the new Bentley Bentayga out testing on several occasions before, both with and without heavy camo on it, we couldn’t help but take a look at the most recent set of spyshots, our carparazzi sent in.
Nothing much changed from the last time we met up with the upcoming SUV, and we didn’t expect it to. After all, the last batch of spyshots showed us exactly how the car will look like in production guise, even though the headlights and taillights were neatly covered up.

As you can see, the car looks a lot like the Audi Q7 from the sides, and that’s only understandable as it will be sharing a lot of its parts with its less ‘luxurious’ brother. Under the skin, the same MLB platform will be used that will allow the British car to be as light as possible on its feet.

And it will will need that light chassis as the amount of luxurious items that will be included inside the cabin will be high, and they all add on the scale.

Speaking of the interior, the Brits have already teased us with a video showcasing some of the features we’ll find inside. Of course, top tier materials, fit and finish will be used but also the latest tech from the Volkswagen Group.

Under the bonnet, we’re expecting to see anything at this point as no info regarding this particular detail was revealed just yet. As a matter of fact, we’ll even go as far as to say that a diesel might be thrown in the mix, even though it’s a long shot considering the reputation compression-ignition engines still have these days. A hybrid layout isn’t out of the question either especially since the right front fender of the car seems to be sporting an ‘extra’ fuel cap.

As for the moment you can actually buy one you’ll have to wait until next year. Bentley is claimed to plan on building the SUV in Slovakia on the same production line as the Q7, Touareg and Cayenne.
