Have you ever thought that Audi sedans are the exhaust opposite of a piece of paper? The A1 is one of the biggest pieces of paper you can find, but as a car, it's the smallest Audi. And while the 2016 Audi A7 is one of the most significant four-door coupes on the market, its paper equivalent measures less than three inches.
That's got to be one of the weirdest introductions I've ever made, but this story is rather bland, so we thought it needed some livening up. The German automaker has finally released press photos of the US-spec 2016 model year A6 and A7, with Michigan plates we might add.

The A6 is not a stunner, but not a pig either. For 2016, the lines of the headlights have been refined, and equipment levels have gone up. The entry-level model comes with a 2-liter turbo and is good for 252 HP and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft). Yours for $46,000, this is the discrete gentleman's choice of car.

It's worth knowing that the sexy white car in our press photos comes with the $1,800 S line Sport Package, the $1,400 LED headlights and $1,000 20-inch 5-arm-star design wheels.

For 2016, the A7 model line receives engine enhancements achieving more power and increased fuel efficiency across all trims. How to tell if it's the 2016 model? Just look at those sexy new headlights with straight lines.

Price start at $68,300 and for that you get the Premium Plus trim level. The standard engine is a 3.0 TFSI (supercharged) that has 333 HP and 325 lb-ft (440 Nm) of torque. Your other choice is at over $70,000 and gets you a more frugal but less powerful 240 HP diesel.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
