Well, well, look who got the base-spec digital treatment and was subtly removed from the premium segment it usually operates in. Yes, people, it's the new Audi A4, but dressed in the lowest-possible equipment level.
Don't get us wrong, Ingolstadt's new sedan doesn't need to feel ashamed, because the same thing happened to a Ferrari 488 GTB, and, after all, this is Pixel Land we're talking about.

The rendering comes from X-Tomi Design and judging by the way it looks, some clients might be inclined to look elsewhere if Audi would offer such a trim level in real life. It is worth noting that during recent reviews, the new Audi A4 was praised for the way it handled on the road and the tech package it offers.

Sure, a suite of black plastic cladding, horrendous 15-inch steel wheels and black front and rear bumpers would not diminish the car's ride and level of comfort, but one thing's for sure: clients won't pay the A4's starting price tag for a car that looks like a base-spec Dacia Sandero.

Also, forget about LED and get ready to embrace the Chevrolet Aveo-looking headlights. But hey, at least Audi's grille is in place, as well as the four rings reminding you of the car's lost pedigree.

So, those complaining the new Audi A4 is just a facelift and not a new generation in terms of design, should have a good look at this base-spec version of the sedan. They'll change their perception immediately.
