Last year, Swedish carmaker Volvo revealed that they would reveal the all-new XC90 SUV only after three concepts previewed it. The first was the Coupe Concept, followed by the XC Coupe that was revealed in Detroit. That means we still have one concept to go!
The XC90 is Volvo's flagship, their strongest and best equipped model, much like the S-Class is to Mercedes. That means we just can't simply wait for them to show us what they've got. We need a rendering!
The one you see here comes from Indian Autos Blog, who based their design on the XC Coupe. We think they got pretty much everything right except for the headlights, which we think will have that slanted T shape. Why do we say that? Because during a presentation in Sweden, this image appeared, and we think it's a preview.
The new XC90 will use scalable product architecture, it will have numerous active safety systems and will probably be the safest car in the world. After its arrival, the Ikea parking lot will never be the same!
