If you think this is a Toyota Camry, you're not completely wrong because the Aurion was derived from it. And Australia just received a new model, along with a touch of sportiness on the Sportivo version.
Before going into slightly spicy details concerning the Aurion Sportivo, let's take it slow and see what the down-to-Earth Aurion has to offer for Aussie buyers.

There's not much to cover on the outside, other than a redesigned black mesh front grille, new 16-inch rims and additional body colour options. But that's for the entry-level Aurion AT-X.

Those with higher ambitions and expectations can go for the top-of-the-shelf Aurion Presara. The version offers LED headlights and fog lights and 17-inch alloy wheels. Safety is also taken one level up with a lane departure safety system and a rear cross-traffic alert feature.

Significant changes appeared inside, where the 2015 Aurion gained a keyless entry and ignition system coupled with a new instrument cluster embroidered with Optitron dials and a 4.2-inch color screen for displaying info on the car.

Now, for the Sportivo version: it packs 272 HP preview via a set of visual enhancements that offers a sportier outer shell, a slightly aggressive grille, and gloss black alloy wheels. Under the body, engineers installed a sport-oriented suspension system while the driver gets to handle a three-spoke steering wheel and a pair of paddle shifters.

By now, you'll want to know more about price tags, right? The Aurion AT-X starts from $36,490, the Aurion Sportivo can be had for a starting sticker of AUD40,990 while the Presara will remove at least AUD50,440 from buyers' bank accounts.
