Suzuki announces their new small-displacement dual-sport machine DR200S, but it looks like it will be a treat reserved to the North American riders, only. Apparently, the 2015 Suzuki DR200S is not “clean” enough to comply with the European emissions regulations, and there’s no word on whether Hamamatsu will make any effort to come up with an EU-compliant version.
All in all, the 2015 Suzuki DR200S is a great choice for riders in search of their first motorcycle, or for those who are looking for an economical on-off alternative to their big-bore machines. Being a street-legal bike, the 2015 Suzuki DR200S is a smart choice for commuting, as its punchy 199cc air-cooled OHC single packs enough grunt to provide you with a fast getaway in the urban clutter. Keeping things simple and cheap to maintain, the 2015 DR200S is still carbureted, and comes with a manual 5-speed transmission, with chain final drive.
