To celebrate the arrival of the 2015 model year, Subaru of America introduced today XV Crosstrek Special Edition, a limited run of just 1,000 examples arriving into retailers in spring 2015. Based on the 2.0i Premium specification, the Special Edition is priced at $25,290 plus $850 for the destination and delivery charges.
As standard, customers of the Special Edition are offered Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, a versatile 8.7 inches (22.09 cm) of ground clearance, 17-inch alloy wheels and room for five and their weekend’s worth of luggage. This is also one of the most fuel efficient AWD crossover vehicles in the U.S. of A., delivering 34 mpg (6.9 l/100 km) when cruising on the highway.
Except for the aforementioned and the 148 horsepower and 145 lb-ft (196 Nm) of torque of the 2.0 boxer engine, the Special Edition also adds a Starlink Multimedia audio system, which boasts with a 7-inch touchscreen with swipe and scrolling gesture control. This system offers 6 speakers, SiriusXM satellite radio, two USB ports and iTunes tagging.
