The Mitsubishi Evo X might be killed off this year with no plan for a return. Sad story... Meanwhile in Subaru land, the WRX STI is all-new and cooler than ever for the 2014 model year, so cool in fact that Subaru has decided to make a cool movie about it, "The Ride of Her Life!"
The movie looks like it will go straight to DVD, or maybe straight to the web. It's about a wild boy who's actually a skater (played by : Bucky Lasek), who seduces a beautiful girl (played by the sexy Kayslee Collins) into loving him and his wild car. Together they do donuts, eat donuts and generally give her "The Ride of Her Life!"
Everybody knows girls are naturally attracted to handbrake turns and men with enough skill do to all-wheel drive donuts. How could they not be! But understandably, her father who's supposed to be the baddest sheriff in the world, doesn't agree with his daughter getting "The Ride of Her Life!"
We love how Regular Car Reports established Subaru WRXs are for web designers and frat bros. And here we are with a funny commercial that appeals to both types. 'Cos we bet they'd both like to give a hot girl like that "The Ride of Her Life!"
Editor's note: Yeah, we love saying "The Ride of Her Life!" It sounds like a filthy movie from the 80s that you watch for the really bad plot and acting.
