Japanese automaker Subaru has confirmed that the 2015 WRX STI will be unveiled at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show later this month. The performance model will break cover on January 14.
The manufacturer declined any details on the car, but past reports suggest that the brand new WRX STI will still be motivated by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder boxer engine. The sedan is like to have about 300 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque under the front hood.

Subaru has yet to release a photo of the actual car, but you can enjoy the rendering that was released back in November, when the automaker getting ready to launch the 2015 WRX. And while we're on the subject, you can also check out some live photos of the production 2015 WRX from the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
