Rumored to be unveiled at this year’s Tokyo Auto Show in November, the 2015 Subaru WRX was caught testing at the Mulholland Drive near Los Angeles.
Posted on Youtube as a video that features a “mistery car” accompanied by a Japanese crew that “wouldn’t give any info”, the clip shows a camouflaged WRX prototype making passes at the Mulholland Drive.
While it’s not as attractive as the WRX Concept revealed at the 2013 New York Auto Show, the vehicle spotted in California looks very similar with the one you’ve already seen in our spyshots about a month ago.
Very little official info is known about the 2015 WRX, but word has it Subaru will place a new 2.0-liter flat-four engine under its bonnet for about 280 HP. A carbon fiber roof could be used for weight-saving purposes. The new performance sedan should go on sale in the US starting mid-2014.
