Having just shown us the brand new 2015 WRX and WRX STI in Detroit and Chicago, respectively, Subaru today camo out with official pricing.
The most affordable of the pair is obviously the WRX, which starts at $26,295, excluding a $795 destination fee. While it a reasonably priced car, the new WRX is a little more expensive than the 2014 model year. Powering it is a turbocharged boxer 2-liter, rated in America at 268-hp and 258 lb-ft (350Nm), allowing you and the car to perform 0 to 60 sprints in 5.4 second.

If you want to go slower, Subaru will let you do that by buying the more expensive CVT model, which has a retail sticker of $29,695 without destination. Even the rally fan inside us all will not allow us to ignore the fact that you can buy a premium Mercedes CLA or Audi A3 sedan for that amount of money. Better stick to the stick!

The much hotter 2015 WRX STI retails for $34,495 plus destination. However, if you want gold wheels and blue rally-inspired paint the STI Launch Edition (shown above) is the one you're looking for. There are only going to be 1,000 of those, each costing $37,395. No CVT here, only a short-throw stick catching cogs for a 2.5-liter boxer engine outputting 305-hp and 290 lb-ft (393 Nm).

Navigation is extra, and so are a lot of other features, so for the full details, check out the press release below.
