Fresh news from the land of symmetrical all-wheel drive, as reports suggests a brand new Outback will be officially presented two months from now at the New York Auto Show.
Like the new Legacy, the new Outback will be a 2015 model year and will a 2015 model year and should offer the same 2.5-liter base engine and six-cylinder 3.6-liter DOHC unit, at least in America.

A heavily camouflaged prototype of the 2015 Outback (photo above) was spied by us in July last year. We think the design will be somewhat similar to the Legacy and the Levorg estate concept of last year.

Among the features that will be offered on the production car is Subaru's new EyeSight lane keeping assistance system. Too bad you'll only be able to buy it with a CVT.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
