Ahead of the car's impending official debut at the Chicago Auto Show, Subaru appears to have let slip a few photos of its new Legacy mid-size sedan.
Not surprisingly, it doesn't look as good as last year Legacy Concept, show in Los Angeles. It's more of a bland mix of features from the old Legacy and other mid-size vehicles. And while we're on the subject of lookalikes, the grille is pulled straight off the new Datsun Go.
The back of the 2015 Legacy is a little better than the old one though, featuring slim taillights and a sloping deck-lid with a spoiler-like lip integrated into the sheetmetal.
We're likely going to see a 2.5-liter four-cylinder boxer engine under the bonnet, rated in America at 173-hp and linked to either a six-speed manual or Subaru's latest CVT. There could also be a mild hybrid model and potentially a 2.5GT with a more powerful engine as well, though not for the 2015 model year.
