For the 2015 model year, Subaru has spruced up the popular Impreza compact car. Available as a four-door sedan or a five-door hatchback, this new model year comes with a slightly revised look, new refinements and Rear Vision Camera as standard across the range.
Subaru of America added EyeSight Driver Assist to the updated Impreza, which includes goodies such as adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking and vehicle lane departure warning. Another nice detail about the 2015 model year is the 148 hp / 145 lb-ft 2-liter four-cylinder boxer engine. Though the car is offered with all-wheel drive as standard, engineers tweaked the engine, thus improving the mileage to 28 mpg city / 37 mpg highway / 31 mpg combined.

Adopting 2015 Legacy-inspired front grille, bumper and headlights, the revised Impreza debuts a low-profile trunk spoiler on the four-door sedan model. Additional sound deadening and thicker side glass windows make the Japanese compact quieter than the 2014 model year, while a quick-ratio electric power assisted steering system is standard as well.

And we haven't got to the best bit yet...

Even the base 2.0i model gains additional standard equipment over the 2014 MY, including a rear-view parking camera, a one-touch lane changer feature for the turn signals, cruise control and touchscreen infotainment with a 6.2-inch screen. Except the 2.0i, all other models upgrade from a five-speed manual to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). If you opt for a CVT-equipped model, then Subaru fits hydraulic engine mounts to dampen the vibration produced by the four-cylinder 2-liter boxer engine.

If our memory serves us right, active engine mounts are a feature only Porsche and Mercedes fit to top-end models such as the 911, AMG GT and C 63. If you need more kit, the model range also includes a Limited, Sport Premium and Sport Limited trim level.
