Of the five hundred or so journalists present in Munich on Thursday, at the official reveal of the 2015 Mercedes-Benz V-Class, we gather that only very few were paying close attention to Dieter Zetsche's speech about what 2014 brings for Daimler.
We say this because, although we watched the V-Class presentation while it was happening, we failed to take a screenshot of the out of the blue apparition of the third generation of the smart fortwo across a huge screen behind Zetsche.

The guys from MB Passion were among those few paying attention though, and they managed to edit some fifteen seconds of the original transmission so we can all see the 2015 smart fortwo “La Cucaracha” teaser.

While the footage of the car is so blurry that only the overall profile of the model is perceived, we do know from previous spyshots that the new smart fortwo will have an entirely different new front end, which was designed this way courtesy of new pedestrian impact laws in Europe.

The production car is set to be unveiled in the second part of the year, with MB Passion speculating that it might happen in July instead of being unveiled at one of the large upcoming Auto Shows in 2014.
