2015 Sarolea SP7 Carbon Electric Superbike Unveiled for Isle of Man TT Action

Sarolea unveiled the 2015 model year SP7 electric superbike which will take place in the Isle of Man TT Zero Challenge, Wednesday, the 10th of June. Saroilea decided to pull the wraps off the new machine at the Autoworld show in Brussels yesterday. However, the Belgians seem to be reserved in telling the world too much about the new machine.

Even more, the company is also a bit secretive as far as the photos of the bike go. Or it's just the Easter holidays causing a certain degree of laziness in showing more of this interesting bike.

The new Sarolea SP7 looks quite similar to the previous model

The 2015 iteration of the SP7 bike looks very similar to what Sarolea showed last year. If anything, on an aesthetic point of view, the new machine looks tidier and somehow, more compact, which is, of course, a nice thing.

Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the retro looks of this all-carbon fiber superbike might not appeal to some, with the '70s front and rear cowls and the boxy mid-ship being potential iffy zones.

Anyway, the most important changes are underneath the carbon panels, but Sarolea is dead-silent in this matter for the time being. The previous bike packed 180 horsepower for a 200 kg (441 lb) weight, with a top speed of 250 km/h (155.4 mph) and 400 Nm (294.8 lb-ft) peak torque.
