Despite latest rumors about Saleen being on the verge of going bankrupt, the company managed to pull out three more Mustang 302 versions for 2015 - the White Label, Yellow Label and Black Label. While we have to wait for the yellow and black a bit more, the former one is now actually said to reach customers.
Saleen Automotive announced it begun shipping the Mustang 302 White Label already from its factory in Corona, Southern California. The car is differentiated via a new grille, special badging, a rear boot-mounted lip spoiler and quarter window trimming.
It comes both in fastback and convertible versions with the 5-liter V8 engine having been upgraded to crank 450 hp while the suspension also got tuned for more performance. The engine comes attached to a six-speed manual gearbox by default, but for a little extra you can get it in automatic form.
The White Label starts at $42,754 (€37,400) and will be in production for a limited time run, with each unit coming with a unique serialized number, like the rest of the models in the series.
Apart from this, you can get a Mustang 302 Yellow Label, which starts at $53,720 (€46,000) and throws no less than 640 hp towards the rear wheels thanks to a supercharger fitted to that 5-liter powerhouse.
Of course, you can wait a bit longer for the S302 Black Label to be fully revealed. That will happen in March and will come with a choice of both engines mentioned above. Still, the flagship model comes with a sick design, a functional induction hood, extra cooling for the brakes as well as extra interior amenities like Alcantara upholstery and more tech.
