Fiat Chrysler Automobiles just unveiled the all-new 2015 Ram ProMaster City, but the small work van won’t arrive in dealers until later this year. When it does, though, Ram wants to make sure there are plenty of accessories available for owners to customize their ProMaster City, and Mopar has announced the first of what should be many dealer-available add-ons.
Since it will be required to fill a wide number of roles, the Ram ProMaster City will be able to be equipped with an equally wide array of options allowing owners and/or businesses to equip the to meet their specific needs. Being a work van, Mopar offers the obvious racks and carriers to get tools and equipment to the job site, and buyers will also be able to select customizable graphics packages right from the dealer.
Despite its small size, the Ram ProMaster City will be ready to haul plenty of cargo, and when you need to max out its 2,000-pound towing capacity, Mopar’s got you covered. To make towing as safe and easy as possible, Mopar offers everything you need to tow a trailer from the wiring harnesses and receivers to the DOT-certified roadside safety kit, which includes reflectors, a fire extinguisher and a nifty carrying bag.
There are even more accessories available to spruce up or protect the interior of this new van such as heavy-duty floor mats and canvas seat covers not to mention dealer-installed technology options like the electronic vehicle tracking system, Mopar Web in-vehicle mobile network and a hands-free cell phone holder.
While anyone can buy a ProMaster City, businesses opting for the small van can benefit from various incentives and discounts offered through Chrysler’s “On The Job” program. Pricing has not been announced for the 2015 Ram ProMaster City or any of its Mopar accessories.
