When it comes to fast Opel cars, performance only needs three letters: O, P and C. Without further beating around the bush, the newest addition of the bunch comes in the form of the 2015 Opel Corsa OPC hot hatchback.

Priced from €24,395 in Germany, the scorching hot supermini from Opel is almost €4,000 more costly than the Renault Clio RS. At first glance, that huge difference may sound like the typical rip-off, but that’s not the case with this machine.

Do keep in mind that the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-banger is loaded with 207 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, making the 2015 Opel Corsa OPC the most powerful supermini on sale right now.

Vector in the short ratio six-speed manual gearbox and the numbers will really impress you

Heck, even the Geneva show girls from the Opel stand were thoroughly mad about the Corsa OPC and we understand why: who could say no to a 6.8-second sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) and 80 to 120 km/h (50 to 75 mph) in a mere 6.4 seconds? Yup, these ladies would love to ride shotgun in it.

Bold go-faster exterior styling, two exhaust pipes, an aggressively designed bonnet, hip-hugging performance seats made by Recaro and brakes from Brembo sum up the essentials. Better still, €3,150 will buy you the OPC Performance Pack, which adds a Drexler multi-disc differential lock, 18-inch wheels, Michelin tires and a set of 330-milimeter brake discs for the front axle.
