As much as we liked seeing how designers exploit their imagination on the new Alfa Romeo Giulia through a variety of renderings showing the Italian in different versions, too much is too much.
That's why we're bringing you Theophilus Chin's latest renderings, related to the German side of the auto industry. As you figured out by now, we're talking about the recently unveiled 2015 Opel Astra K.

It's not the first time we've seen pixel manipulations for this particular car. If you remember, someone rendered it as a Sports Tourer and truth be told, we liked how that turned out.

Coming back to the pair of renderings you're about to see, we have to admit there's a fancy air about them. Sure, we do understand they're nothing but Pixel Land material, but it wouldn't be extremely unusual if Opel offered such a version.

Now with the back doors gone, the hatchback seems to turn into a warmhatch, but that's also to be decided by the engine installed under the hood. So far in real-life, Opel is offering a 1.4-liter Ecotec direct injection turbo engine for the 2015 Opel Astra, available in two power outputs: 125 and 150 horsepower.

Furthermore, the lineup also offers a 1.0 ECOTEC Turbo with 105 horsepower and a 1.6 CDTI turbo diesel mill with 95, 110 and 136 horsepower. GTC and OPC variants will follow, but we'll have to wait at least two years for that to happen.

At this point, it's still too early to talk about such a version because the new 2015 Opel Astra K has to make an official debut first, and that move is scheduled for this September, during the Frankfurt International Motor Show.

As usual, we'd like to find out your opinion on the renderings, so feel free to let us know what you think about the artist's work.
