MINI Spacebox Rendering 1 photo

Following the latest spyshots that have been floating around lately, it seems like we’re supposed to get a new MPV from the BMW Group under the MINI badge. The new model will be using the UKL1 platform and will be aiming at bigger families that want premium quality.
At the moment, we don’t know exactly what name it will be wearing but the two choices that are floating around right now are ‘Spacebox’ and ‘Traveller’, every publication choosing its favorite. I went for Spacebox.

The guys from X-Tomi Design already rendered how the new car might turn out and it looks almost like the real deal. The front fascia has Countryman headlines, the whilst the D-Pillar’s shape looks like it came straight from a previous gen Range Rover Sport.

The ground clearance is pretty impressive whilst the wheels they used look a bit off to me. Also, the car has plastic fender flares but I’m not sure why. Maybe to protect it from gravel and mud but that seems unlikely...
