Unlike the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, the Viano or its V-Class predecessor were never offered in the United States, but that situation might soon change as the Stuttgart car brand is gearing up for a new large MPV.
Set to be launched at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March, the upcoming Mercedes-Benz V-Class and its Vito commercial van version might arrive in the land of the free in 2015, where it would most likely make for the most luxurious minivan on the market and the only one with rear-wheel drive in standard and optional all-wheel drive.

So far, the Swabians have only released seven interior photos of the new car and they practically scream high tech and opulence, making this much more than your average soccer-mom vehicle.

According to Automotive News, an MB USA spokesman declined to comment if the above information is true or not but we gather that the V-Class should make for a good business opportunity if it offers the right features for the right moolah. Plus, now that the ill-fated R-Class is gone from US dealerships, there is an open space where it used to sit.
