2015 Mercedes-Benz V-Class Edition 1 Gets Detailed

Just like every other newly-launched Mercedes-Benz passenger car in recent years, the big V-Class will also start out with a special edition version.

Not even a week after the all-new Mercedes-Benz V-Class W447 was unveiled right in BMW's backyard, the obligatory Edition 1 version of the luxury MPV has also been revealed.

Only available with the most powerful engine, the 190 hp sequentially-turbocharged turbodiesel, the V 250 BlueTec Edition also sports the 7G-Tronic Plus automatic transmission.

As far as equipment goes, the Edition 1 comes in standard with sports suspension (or optional Agility Control system with selective damper control), 19-inch t-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, tinted rear windows, nappa leather seating, leather-look dashboard with contrast topstitching and dark anthracite ebony-look trim.

On top of that, the V-Class Edition 1 also features active seat ventilation for the driver and front passenger, Thermotronic automatic climate control plus semi-automatic Tempmatic system in the rear, Comand Online, Burmester surround sound system, electric sliding doors in the rear, the Parking package with 30-degree camera, Collision Prevention Assist, Lane Keeping Assist and Blind Spot Assist and the Pre-Safe system.
