2015 Mercedes-Benz V-Class Caught in Spain

With the R-Class having been axed from most markets this year, the niche spot previously occupied by the luxurious crossover has remained pretty much devoid of Mercedes-Benz models.

This will apparently change starting with the summer of 2014, when the V-Class nameplate will make a return and replace the current Mercedes-Benz Viano.

Filled with safety and comfort features that have been transplanted straight from the S-Class W222 flagship, the new 2015 V-Class is set to cover some new territories, which the current Viano was only tipping its toes in.

We now pretty much know everything there is to know about the model's exterior, with official sketches having been leaked months ago, while the interior promises to be best in class if these official photos are anything to go by.

With a public unveil most likely to happen at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show and a market launch date in July 2014, the next Mercedes-Benz V-Class will probably offer the most luxurious MPV experience of any car.
