The House of the Trident is preparing a few updates for its two best-selling models. Slated to make their debut at next week’s Los Angeles Auto Show, the refreshed Maserati models don’t get any extra oomph, but a small nip and tuck job to keep aesthetics fresh.
Starting with the bigger Quattroporte, the full-size luxury four-door sedan in range-topping GTS guise boasts with the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 as before. With a hefty 523 horsepower and a pretty brisk 4.6-second 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) run, this is not your typical Italian slow coach.

The visual updates operated for the 2015 model year come in the form of a revised trident badge and a slightly more polished chrome grille. Couple that with the red wheel center caps and the body-finish lower bodywork and that sums up the most important changes on the outside.

In all-wheel drive S Q4 specification, the 404 HP 3-liter twin-turbo V6 Quattroporte boasts with new kit on the inside. 2015 model year highlights are represented by Wi-Fi hotspot capability, red leather with contrasting stitching and very neat piano black cabin trim.

What about the Ghibli?

As the Italian manufacturer informs, the 2015 Maserati Ghibli makes use of the same six-cylinder petrol mills we are already accustomed to, but does add a little bit of extra specialness both inside and out.

Now coming with sat nav and Bluetooth as standard, buyers of the executive four-door sedan also have a handful of new visual enhancements to further beautify the Italian exotica. But if it were our two cents, we’d go for down to earth stuff like bronze brake calipers and brown upholstery with white stitching.
