The third generation of the mid-size Mercedes-Benz SUV managed a great performance in all the types of crash tests that the american safety institute threw at it, including the recently-introduced and game-changing small front overlap.

The following ad is obviously capitalizing on the best-in-class safety features of the M-Class, and to be honest we absolutely loved both the idea and the way it was brought to life, bridging together humor and facts in a non-intrusive way.

Unlike the G-Class, whose safety was marketed some years ago from an entirely different perspective, the M-Class W166 relies on a number of electronic active safety systems which prevent it from actually getting into an accident - like Distronic or Pre-Safe - while the IIHS rating takes care of the mareting for the passive safety credentials.
